New excavators or excavators that have been overhauled must go through a period of trial operation, usually called the walk-in period. The purpose of the walk-in period is to prevent early wear and tear of the excavator and extend the service life of the excavator. In the excavator walk-in period, the following provisions must be strictly enforced.

(1) The excavator should be carried out in the implementation of the go period in the obvious place to hang the "go period" sign, so that the relevant personnel can pay attention to the use of the provisions of the go period, to be taken down after the expiration of the go period.

(2) The engine should be decelerated by 30% and the deceleration load should be 20%-30% during the period, no one should remove the seal of the engine speed limiting device, and it should be removed only under the supervision of the technical personnel after the period.

(3) When starting the engine is strictly prohibited to blast the throttle. The engine should be warmed up for 20-50 seconds when starting at low temperature, and then start immediately. After starting the engine idle for 3-5 minutes, cooling water temperature to 40 degrees before increasing speed and load.

(4) The technical preparation before starting the engine, the technical requirements when running, before stopping and after the technical work after the flameout, etc. according to the general mechanical operating procedures or the requirements of the engine manual.

(5) The excavator should be excavated in the first 30 or 50 hours of the go-combined period for looser soil, each time loading for the bucket capacity of 1/2, the subsequent 70 or 50 hours of loading can be gradually increased, but not more than 3/4 of the bucket capacity, and to reduce the operating speed.

(6) should often pay attention to the operation of the excavator mechanism during the period of walking together, check the working temperature of the bearings, gears and frictional subsets of each department, and observe whether there is leakage in the hydraulic system. The abnormal phenomenon in the operation should be immediately stopped to check the cause, and be excluded.

(7) after the full surface of the walking period should be based on the operation of the excavator during the walking period to check, adjust and lubricate the work of each ministry. At the same time, check the cleanliness of the gear box lubricant and hydraulic oil tank hydraulic oil, if necessary, be replaced.

(8) Technical personnel should strengthen the technical management of the excavator walking period, excavator walking period should be taken before the requirements and precautions to the operator clearly; walking period should check the use of the excavator, operation, detailed, serious, truthfully fill out the excavator walking period use record sheet, excavator walking period by the competent technical personnel to review the record sheet, and filed in the excavator technical file.
