Crawler trucks are our common transport handling equipment, it is also known as crawler transporters, it is very widely used, but do you know what failures often occur in crawler trucks?
There are many operators of crawler trucks who do not quite understand what faults often occur with crawler trucks, so it is very easy to ignore the dangers that are already present when driving the vehicle.
I. The engine of the crawler truck cannot be started
Causes:
1、Flushing over the engine, causing water moisture in the distributor, ignition module, spark plugs, high voltage wires, etc.
2、Spark plugs are damaged.
3、Insufficient voltage of the battery of the crawler truck.
4, Inertia switch disconnected.
Prevention and solution measures:
1、Avoid direct flushing of the crawler truck engine.
2、Check, adjust or replace spark plugs regularly.
3、Appoint a service station to check and replace damaged parts.
4、Charge the battery.
5、Press the inertia switch to restore the circuit.
II. Engine stalls when shifting gears on crawler trucks
Causes:
1、Idling speed is too low.
2、Idle speed cut-off valve is not tightened.
3、The gear position is too high.
4、Oil and gas separator is seriously blocked.
Prevention and solution measures:
1、Adjust idling speed to normal speed.
2、Check whether the idle speed cut-off valve is tightened and the plug is inserted tightly.
3、Shift into a lower gear.
4、Clean the oil/gas separator at a designated service station.
