Testing and results analysis of the travel system of a small agricultural tracked transport vehicle

Small agricultural tracked transporters walking system testing and results analysis using the walking transmission system to make the prototype first on the dirt road and road test, the indicators are normal. The small agricultural crawler transporter can be steplessly regulated in every gear, achieving stepless speed regulation from zero to large speed, with a smooth transmission, reducing the probability of the machine stalling. The driver can move the transporter forward and backward using only one handle, reducing the intensity of operation and improving operational performance. In order to verify the performance and reliability of the system, tests were carried out under rated loads in a paddy field test site under various operating conditions, with a muddy foot depth of approximately 15 to 20cm. the actual instruments measured were: high pressure gauge, oil fill gauge, temperature gauge and stopwatch. The results show that the small agricultural tracked transporter system operates normally, the speed meets the design target and the pressure and oil temperature are within reasonable limits. The system was able to change between high and low gears and the pressure was not out of the normal range.

(1) In response to the lack of a transport vehicle capable of high and low speed conversion after mechanised rice harvesting, a tracked travel drive system was designed using a drive scheme with a split hydrostatic transmission system in series with a mechanical stepped transmission. In order to reduce steering resistance and increase soil thrust and hook traction, the design uses a reduced track ground length to track gauge ratio and an increased track width, resulting in a high overall performance of the tracked transport vehicle. Tests have shown that the vehicle is capable of large speed variations and can be used not only for low-speed transport in muddy rice fields, but also for high-speed transport on hard surfaces. Due to the ability to achieve stepless speed regulation in each gear, the transmission is smooth, reducing the probability of the machine stalling and reducing the intensity of operation.

(2) Through the calculation of driving force and power under different transport conditions, I believe that a reasonable power selection method is to use the power at large turning speed on hard surfaces as the large driving power and the power at large turning speed in paddy fields as the normal driving power.
