Water well drilling rigs, in the second century B.C., China has used bamboo useful for human beings and bow-shaped excitation to form elastic force to make the tooth wheel drill bit and the initial type of percussion drilling rig, and long used in rural China. It was not until the 1950s, before the introduction of wire rope drilling from abroad, that the early 1960s began the large-scale development of small pot cones and cone drills to master simple wells. 1966 saw the development of normal circulation rotary drilling, before and after 1974, the successful development of reverse circulation drilling rigs rotary drilling and composite types, and the end of the 70s saw the creation of a submerged rotary drilling rig with vibrations. Europe and the United States mainly used wireline drilling in the 19th century, and in the 1960s, France first utilized rotary drilling rigs, which were introduced in the United States and gained rapid development afterwards. The development of water well drilling rigs started in the 1950s with the development of rotary drilling rigs with reverse circulation rotary tables, and later appeared in rotary drilling rigs using compressed air instead of mud cleaning media, and in the 1970s with the development of rotary drilling rigs with hydraulic power heads.
