After a water well drilling rig leaves the factory, there is a break-in period of about 60 hours (some call it a walk-in period), which is stipulated according to the technical characteristics of the water well drilling rig at the early stage of use. However, at present, some users ignore the special technical requirements of the break-in period due to the lack of common sense or because of tight deadlines or because they want to gain revenue as soon as possible. This not only affects the normal use of the machine and shortens the service life of the machine, but also affects the progress of the project due to the damage of the machine, which is not worth the loss in the end. Therefore, the use and maintenance of water well drilling rigs during the break-in period should be given full attention.
The characteristics of the break-in period are as follows:
1. Fast wear rate. As a result of new machine parts processing, assembly and adjustment and other factors, its friction surface rough, with a small surface contact area, the surface of the uneven pressure bearing condition, accelerating the parts with the surface of the wear.
2. Poor lubrication. As the clearance of the newly assembled parts is small, and due to assembly and other reasons, it is difficult to ensure the uniformity of the clearance, the lubricant (grease) is not easy to form a uniform oil film on the friction surface, thus reducing the lubrication efficiency, resulting in early abnormal wear of the machine parts.
3. Loosening occurs. New processing and assembly of parts, by heat, deformation and other factors, coupled with rapid wear and other reasons, easy to make the original fastening of parts loose.
4. Leakage occurs. Due to the loosening of the machine parts, vibration and the impact of heat on the machine, the sealing surface of the machine and pipe joints, etc., leakage will occur.
5. Operating errors. Due to the lack of understanding of the structure and performance of the machine, it is easy to cause malfunctions due to operational errors, and even cause operational accidents.
