The engine, hydraulic pump, and distribution valve are the three major components of the crawler transport vehicle. Each of the components is tightly connected to each other, and the operation of each part is well adjusted. If any of these components is faulty, it may cause the product to fail to work normally. Therefore, when the user finds that the engine of the crawler transport vehicle is smoking, they should stop the use of the product first, and solve the smoking situation of the engine of the crawler transport vehicle according to the following contents.
When the quality of diesel oil is not high or the function of oil-water separator fails, the diesel oil entering the engine of the crawler truck often contains some water, which forms an uneven fuel mixture after the diesel is injected into the cylinder. After compression incineration, a lot of unburned hydrocarbons and water vapor are generated, making the color of the exhaust gas white. The solution to white smoke in this situation is to use oil with guaranteed quality, and use a useful oil-water separator together. Check the oil-water separator every morning before the engine starts, and remove the water in time.
Under the normal operation of the engine, the fuel is injected into the cylinder in the form of atomization. After the injector fails, the fuel may enter the cylinder in the form of oil droplets. During the compression process, the fuel mixture in the cylinder is uneven. This makes the fuel incineration in the work process insufficient, and there are many unburned hydrocarbons and water vapor in the exhaust gas. When this situation occurs, it is necessary to first determine which cylinders have faulty fuel injectors. Elimination methods can be used to remove the faulty fuel injectors and replace them in time.
When a cylinder is not working, the fuel injector of this cylinder will still inject fuel, and the fuel mixture in the cylinder may become fuel vapor after the compression temperature increases, resulting in white smoke during exhaust. In this case The occurrence of white smoke is often accompanied by a drop in engine power and weakened power.
Coolant into the cylinder will also make the exhaust white smoke, the same principle as too much water in the fuel, coolant into the cylinder maybe because the cylinder liner has cracks or gasket damage, high temperature and high pressure coolant into the cylinder through high temperature and high pressure, in the exhaust constitutes white water vapor.
You can check the engine oil is not increased to determine whether it is coolant into the cylinder, to confirm the coolant into the engine to check the repair, replace the damaged cylinder liner or cylinder gasket.
When the fuel supply early angle is small, the piston runs to the upper stop of the cylinder before the fuel injected into the injector is too little, the amount of premixed gas is reduced, the mixed gas burning speed decreases and the burning time is completed late, constituting a lot of water vapor smoke. When the fuel supply is too late, some fuel is not burned on the sweep, constituting diesel vapor, the exhaust becomes white. The white smoke occurs because of improper adjustment of fuel supply advance, which requires the engine's fuel supply advance angle to be adjusted from the beginning, and the timing should be adjusted according to the camshaft gear scale. In addition, when the engine temperature is too low, there may be white smoke from the exhaust, because some diesel fuel is not burned at low temperature to become oil vapor from the exhaust port and white smoke occurs.
